The ski resort of Alta Badia, located between 1400 and 2200 meters above sea level ensures optimal ski conditions throughout the winter.

The cross country areas in Alta Badia are:

Cross country area Corvara/Colfosco
The routes, 15 km approximately, wind through woods and meadows, from Corvara (start near the Boè cable car) till the Colfosco water falls. They are prepared for the classic discipline as well as for the skating technique.

The cross country centre Alta Badia in San Cassiano/Armentarola
The Cross country centre Alta Badia in San Cassiano/Armentarola offers 23 km of routes, framed by some of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites are suitable for the classic discipline as well as skating. The centre is equipped with a cross country skiing school, ski hire and skiing preparation; showers and dressing-rooms, bar and restaurant

If you still have some energy left at the end of an active day on the slopes, in Alta Badia you find a good selection of après ski bars where you’re guaranteed to meet some of the nicest folks with whom you may share your ski experiences.

If instead you prefer to relax sipping a hot chocolate or a nice tea accompanied by a "strudel" or another typical cake, visit one of the tearooms, cafés and pastry-shops distributed all over Alta Badia.
